What is the meaning of  be in business for yourself but not  alone by yourself?

"In business for yourself but not by yourself" means to be an entrepreneur or self-employed individual who owns and runs their own business but also has the support and resources of a larger organization or community. This phrase implies that while the individual is responsible for making their own business decisions and managing their own business, they do not have to do everything alone. They have access to the resources and support of a larger organization or community, which can help them achieve their business goals and overcome challenges.

For example, a franchisee who owns and operates their franchise location is "in business for themselves" because they make their own business decisions and are responsible for the success of their site. However, they are not "by themselves" because they have the support and resources of the franchisor, such as training, marketing, and purchasing power.

Similarly, a member of a co-working space, a business accelerator, or an entrepreneur association can provide a new business owner with access to a community of other business owners, resources, and mentorship opportunities, which can help them grow and succeed in their own business.
