Millennials refer to those who were born between 1980 and 2000. The businesses which are profitable then may not satisfy the taste of the Millennials which is why business owners are more focused on how they can attract these new age group of individuals mainly because they comprise the bulk of the market today.

These Millennials are not simply sitting back and just let time pass by. They are more attuned into jumping into the franchising world to start their entrepreneurial journey. Due to the low employment rate that matches their learned skills, starting up a business has been their ultimate choice.

So what irks a millennial into diving into a franchising business? Knowing that having their own business would mean having their own time in their hands, the beauty does not stop there. Businesses should be able to redefine their way on how they can come up with more revolutionary ways on how they can become part of the everyday scene in different social media sites. The Millenials comprise the biggest smartphone users which businesses should make a move in making sure that they are able to reach their customers/followers in a single tap or click.

  • How many of you stop your friends from grabbing a piece of chicken from a plate that has been recently served only to have a picture taken and shared on Instagram? Or showcasing your #OOTD  (Outfit Of The Day) as soon as you have unwrapped your newly bought top and jeans? Knowing how much the different social media have become part of our everyday lives, this has given businesses a new way on how they can connect to their followers/customers.

Technology is like the air that any millennial breathes. It is the perfect description on how they live their lives, how they view the world and how they interact with the world. This means that when businesses directs into the trendier path, it is more likely that these brands will be greatly followed and appreciated by the Millennials.

  • What can be more appealing than making use of eye-catching graphics which can instantly make anyone’s head turn! Presenting your products and services in a way where it can ignite anyone’s interest will surely catch any Millennials attention. They want it simple yet have a huge impact.

Think of how some successful companies are enjoying the spotlight. Millennials want things to be done instantly. By having apps for different businesses, it enables one to instantly purchase what they want online and be able to pay them by using credit card or debit card. Cashless transactions in a snap!

Just imagine how transportation has been drastically changed with the use of Uber and Grab. That is why there is a large percentage among the Millennials who has no plans in buying a car in the future because of the accessibility of this type of transportation. You no longer rely on the regular cabs and get worried if whether you can be able to reach your destination or not. One thing good about these mode of transportation is that you may be able to book using their app and pay them in the form of credit card which makes it safer for you instead of having to bring cash all the time. Hiring a cab has never been easier.

  • Millennials are very intelligent people that they truly choose which products they would patronize. More than seeing the financial benefits, they also see importance on those who has a “heart” in reaching out to people like supporting livelihood projects or greenhouse projects.

Those born ahead of the Millennials may have the thought of “saving for the future. But Millennials are eyeing on saving the future. What is the difference? Millennials are more open in becoming an instrument in servicing for the greater good. Turning from social stability, it is now an era of having social responsibility.

  • Millennials can easily track down your business on how good your franchise really is. It is not enough to boast that you are the leading food chain the country but provide them with real numbers in which they can visualize your worth and significance in the business industry.

There may be a need to revamp websites of older businesses, make use of the different social media channels, become socially responsible, and adapt a new process of employment as the Millennials are invading the business world that invoke change. These changes are very much welcomed as it moves in accordance to the rest of the world.
